I can tell you now that there'll probably be a for pot Deore or Alfine brake at some point. Now of course you could have expected there'd be a four pot Deore XT brake at some point. And if the latest brake turns out to have flaws, at least you are not the one to find out after spending your money. If you bought this brake because it works for you then it probably does and you can just happily ride your bike. The first version of a product is usually released because they crossed a deadline and had to bring something to the market or just because they needed funds to actually smooth out the already known flaws. Being an early adopter is one of the worst things you could do to yourself. If a product is "it is getting close, but not quite there yet" just don't get it.
